Union Common

Craft cocktails anyone? Lately I’ve been on the hunt to find some of the best craft cocktails around town. I’ve heard several great things about Union Common, so I decided to stop by and give it a go. Located in Midtown, Union Common offers a retro atmosphere with a modern touch, without the typical “stuffy” fancy restaurant feel.

Bar Selection

I arrived just in time for happy hour and was thrilled at the selection. The menu definitely caters to various taste buds and the libation selection is very diverse! Their “Classic Happy Hour” is Monday through Thursday from 5pm-7pm where signature cocktails, wines by the glass, and small plates are half off. The “Weekend Kickstarter” is on Fridays from 5pm-7pm where martinis and manhattans are $5( If I ever go missing on a Friday evening, this is where you can find me). Saturday from 5pm-7pm is the “Brown Water Revival” where all whiskeys are half price, and Sunday from 5pm-10pm there is a $10 burger menu with $5 draft beers. I must say I was impressed, very impressed actually. The service was good, the food was great, and the drinks tasted like God himself came down and poured me a round.  I had such a great time. So great I completely forgot to snap a few photos of the restaurant, but don’t fret, I do have food and libation photos below!!

Overall I enjoyed my time at Union Common and I definitely have to add them to my libation rotation!! Check them out!
